Margaret was for many years in the 1990s, and into the new century, the Area Secretary for Leukaemia Care in the East of Scotland. Her work was based at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, where she was a medical secretary, and she was involved in fund-raising for the charity as well as helping support families dealing with Leukaemia.
